This app is incredibly useful due to its simplicity.
I do not recommend this app to people who wish to have a complete control of their incomes and expenses since it can only handle one account. But for those whod like to get on top of their credit card bill, its an awesome app. Ive been using it to control my credit card and its been a dream.
You can set up recurring entries but Its not very helpful since It only goes into the months record at the end of the period. That can give you the impression you have more money o spend then you actually have and We certainly dont go out buying financial apps to help us lose track of things so...
The current version has a bug which prevents you from uploading info to your account in MyMoneyBook website and also from exporting data. That pretty much renders all the backup tools in this app useless. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Ibe been using moneybook for more than a year now and i absolutely love it! Its simple and powerfull.

5 stars for an option to decide weather or not recurring transactions affect the average spending per day value. And why dont they affect the per day spending value as one thirtieth, since they are monthly...?
Very good app. Using it since a few years.
However login/backup is broken since a few days. Latest update didnt solve it for me. Im on iOS 8.0.2
this app is one of the best, its easy and quick to use, and it looks really nice, all it needs is an accounts checkbook where you can enter the ammount you have on your accounts so when you enter a transaction, you can select the account u payed from so you can watch how much money you have on each.
I bought this app to get my spending under control, and that exactly what has happened after I started using MoneyBook. It has an elegant design and is very easy to use. I highly recommend it!
Some bad moments
IPHONE 5 support please?!
We miss some important features:
- multiple account (for student itd be great to have one where money is for own purposes and an other for food etc)
- splitting your month salary into categories if we want to: 150€ for food, 50€ for clothes etc.
PLEASE MAKE IT REAL and youll deserve 5 stars.
Get Spending; it displays information better and in more ways. Has more features, functionality, and includes backup, unlike this.
Starts the month from scratch.. It should take previous months balance to the next month... Will re review it after. How can u just zero the balance.... Not good
For the price tag, this app should have offered way more options to users. It is awkward to use and does not include basic functions such as bi-weekly income, and therefore becomes obsolete and pointless to actually use.
this app only allows tracking expenses/income to one account. if you have multiple accounts, credit cards, savings/checking, this is not the app for you. it looks nice, but all that glitters is not gold. save your money and track it elsewhere.
This app could be amazing. However, that being said, it doesnt provide basic, simplistic functions to track your spending. Money rollover does not work in my case .. Maybe its just me? Tell me what the point of that is? It only allows monthly set incomes, but what if you income varys from month to month? I am very disappointed in this app. The 2.99 was a waste. Or that price you cam get something much better out there. I really hope the devs read this and change their views. The way they see it according to their blog is we have many happy customers, and a few complainers, but we wont help them. Blah blah. Not impressed.
